Adobe Bridge and 4k monitors.

Hi.

I -and many with me- were looking for a way to get adobe Bridge usable on a 4k monitor. I read some people found a solution through adding a .manifest file. This however did not work for me, no matter what I tried. I have however, quite by accident, found a way to make bridge usable for me. This solution is for PC-users.

What I do is: I right-click the Bridge.exe file and run "solve compatibility issues". This starts a windows diagnostic tool. At a certain point it says: test program. I hit the button and ... bridge turned usable. I stress usable because it remains somewhat vague and unsharp. So it's a workaround not a real solution. Still it's better than nothing as I am a bridge user. Caveat: the proces has to be repeated every time when starting bridge because the settings don't seem to be saved or stored.

Anyway: I thought I'd share this as I know more people have this annoying problem.

OH. I still hope adobe will update bridge to work properly on 4k monitors!!!!

Good luck. Hope this works for you too.
