Copy To > Choose Folder... stuck in user directories
I feel like this is kind of a silly question, but I've been using PC's for a long time and I really cant figure out why i'm stuck here. But when I right click and select Copy to, the default folder location is Desktop/username. There is no way to browse to anywhere else on my computer. I cannot go up a directory to My Computer and there is no explorer style side navigation bar. It used to work and my workflow is suffering. How can I reset the default location? Thanks.

Bridge CC hangs/freezes with AE animation presets.
Does anyone else have the issue of Bridge CC hanging/freezing when an AE animation preset is selected in Bridge? This happens whether I Browse Presets from AE or I attempt to navigate to the presets folder directly through Bridge CC.
I have uninstalled and re-installed both programs, with no success. I can still apply an animation preset to a layer from the presets panel in AE, but of course there is no preview, so this is a bit frustrating. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Adobe Bridge CS6 will not open
I intalled PS CS6 yesterday only to find that Btidge does not open. I've searched for answers since then and have yet to find any. I've reinstalled it just to see if that would make a difference, but it hasn't. I'm currently running Windows 7 64bit. Photoshop runs great, the only problem is with Bridge, and apparently I can't get any help from Adobe until tomorrow

Camera Raw editing not enabled
I had to do a system restore only to find on return that
I get a message saying "Camera Raw editing is not enabled. Camera Raw
editing requires that a qualiftyjing product has been launched at least once to enable this
feature"
I can open and work on my ORF's via the mini bridge but not the big one, very frustrating. Can anyone help please without me having to reinstall the whole of CS5?

Adobe Bridge standalone possible?
Hi there,
I am searching for many pic/video asset management applications since a couple of months. given trial of many but each application comes to a point whic keep me searching for another solution. I learned about Bridge and lightroom
Please help me clarify my situation
Purpose:
- need asset management of large collection of pics/videos, ( some amount of PDFs, Word docs, excel, ppt etc.) collection
- At the moment no need to have a network based application. everything is stored on DAS Directly attached storage.
- need to edit, re-touching, cropping etc of pics/video is not frequent.
- only need to catalog collection at one place and be able to search/ locate
Q. Can i use Adobe Bridge CS6 64bit as a standalone application with no other adobe thing installed. only to manage and locate my media ?
Q. Can it handle various video formats in its catalog?
Q. How is cataloging database, split in multiple or one big database? in case of split ones, I need to be able to search and locate in all collection at once regardless of database are in split parts. Is that possible?
Q. how can I download Bridge CS6 64 bit only as a standalone application ?

CR2 files from CANON will corrupted when preview by Adobe bridge

This problem started for me since Sep 2012, on CS5 and CS6
- Windows 7 Ultimate
- 64 GB Ram
- Quad Core i7
- ACR 7.3
- ACR 6.2
- Camera Canon 5D M2
The problem is when I preview my archive files it corrupt the as well; I can see the CR2 file using ACDsee Pro 5 but when I convert them to Tiff or JPEG it export the corrupted file.
The scary part is if I'm losing my archive CR2 files,
I can’t open these file in Canon Digital Photo Professional after they damaged with Adobe.
This evening I was working on a photo and export it as Tiff , when i change directory in Bridge the same CR2 file corrupted!!!!!
I delete the XMP file associated with the CR2 didn’t help, its look like when bridge try to update the thumbnail somehow it
I tested on my portable workstation
Lenovo w701ds
16 GB Ram / i7 QC / Window7 Pro
stil get this random problem.
CHecked the CF card / Card reader / all my cables on both PC's
My problem is a software problem

Bridge CS6 File Association Issues
Hello,
The problem I am having is this:
I am associating a new program, RAWDigger with the NEF file type. It works and it makes RAWDigger as the default. When I go back to the File Association, RAWDigger doesn't even show up in the list. To make CS6 to be the default again I simply click on it in the list and it becomes the default. But RAWDigger is not in the list and I can't select it. What should I do?
And also why does the list contain two instances of the same software when I have one instance of it installed?

Bridge CC stopped showing thumbnails, does not expand at triangles
Hello community
-- three days ago Bridge doesn't let me open all triangles at folder's tab anymore, sometimes more, sometimes less
-- plus when being at a folder that cannot expand anymore and Bridge should display the thumbnails of files, it doesn't build up the view
-- sometimes after quitting/relaunching Bridge I got dialog box about some loadup scripts probs and that I should try to purge the central cache at Prefs (I've done so twice, problem persists)
(no changes on my Mac OS System 10.9.5 or any CC product;, CC and CC 2014 products always updated to latest versions)
-- workaround now is to look for the files in finder, which is tedious as I cannot automate, label, etc and more annoying and therefore I would ask for immediate help: how can I open RAW files in PS without being able to select a bunch in Bridge?

Bridge roadmap and Digital Asset Management
Hello,
Does anyone know if there are plans to expand Bridge into a fully capable Digital Asset Management system or if there are other Creative Cloud features planned or existing that would bring Adobe's offerings close to something like Evolphin or Aysling's Elvis? Is there a roadmap somewhere or anyone with a system using Adobe that they are happy with?
Our scenario is 12+ users and a few terabytes of assets.

I am getting this error message when I attempt to upload videos to my Mac from my Canon 7D:
Adobe Bridge CC cannot obtain files from this device. Please be sure the device is properly plugged in and the battery is full charged.
Battery is full charged and camera is connected properly. I have restarted the camera, Bridge, and the computer as well. I tried reinstalling Bridge and it allowed me to upload 3 of the video files. Then the error message came back. There were a few RAW images on the camera that I was able to upload, but when I tried the video again I got the error message. I read a post about renaming the folder that you are saving to as a fix. I tried that as well, but it did not work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

How can I unreject photos?
After I reject a photo, can I unreject it? I can't find any option which allows me to do this.
If I choose to batch rename my photos, will those rejected photos be renamed too? Or should I remove the rejected photos first before renaming my files in batch?

Moving Bridge Collections from One machine to Another
hi. I have a large collection of folders and library collections.
I've spent a ton of time on this and want to make sure I can move it from computer to computer.
What do I need to do move from one machine to the next and have all these images organized in collections like this?

I get PS & LR is bridge free
I get LR & PS . Is Bridge free or is there a fee for it ? It was a free program.
